A new free Nightfall card-battle preview is available from Play Now. Choose your champion and an opposing champion, then face the computer across three duels. Both sides draw from the same set of 12 cards in each duel. You can summon creatures, cast the included spells, set a Scheme, and use the cards’ printed abilities to fight for the opposing champion’s health.
Field cards now show their ability text and current stats when you hover over them or focus them with a keyboard. On a phone or tablet, tap the small information icon on a card. The Wick Thief’s draw-and-discard effect also now completes correctly: after playing it, choose one card from your hand to discard, then continue your turn.
This is a short browser adaptation of Nightfall’s card combat, not the full Windows Nightfall run. It does not include Procession, champion powers, Omen, Lanterns, run upgrades, saved progress, or collection rewards. Play the three-duel preview.
